Heat player Chad McKnight has been added to the Rest of the World team to play in the BBL All Star game at the NIA on Saturday 8th May tip off 3.30pm. McKnight will be up against Heat Players Tayo Ogendengbe and Julius Joseph who have been selected to represent the Great Britain side. Following the All-Star game, the BBL season comes to a close with the BBL Play-off Final, which this season will be between the Everton Tigers and the Glasgow Rocks. The Tigers, who finished fifth in the league, overcame the Cheshire Jets in the first round of the play-offs before defeating BBL Champions and reigning BBL Play-off Champions, the Newcastle Eagles, over two legs in the semi-finals. They face third seed, the Glasgow Rocks, who got past the Leicester Riders in the first round before defeating number two seed, the Sheffield Sharks, in the semi-finals. This will be Everton's first Play-off Final appearance, while the Rocks haven't won the Play-offs since 2003.
